2024 Day of Service: That's a Wrap!

That's a wrap for 2024 Campari Day of Service! In partnership with Campari, the USBG Foundation is excited to announce the completion of our seventh annual National Day of Service on September 17th, 2024.
The goal of this program is to increase the bar industry's participation in volunteer service activities in local communities. This year's Day of Service consisted of local events in 53 cities across the country with one virtual event option. Over 1,000 volunteers gave back to their communities by completing approximately 7,000 total volunteer hours serving local charities across the country. Volunteers came in the form of Campari employees, USBG members, friends, and family.
Here are a few highlights of USBG Chapters and hospitality professionals in cities across the US that so graciously volunteered for 2024 Campari Day of Service!

One can appreciate the degree of work and planning that went into the 2024 Day of Service. This wrap-up evidences the effect of planning, collaboration, and being presentably consistent in serving the community. Smaller actions were definitely cumulative to the whole event. Quiet work definitely culminates in success; even the focus of group efforts excludes recognition of an individual’s contributions.

Thanks for sharing the wrap-up of the 2024 USBG Foundation Day of Service it’s inspiring to see so many bartenders and hospitality pros giving back across the country. While the online accessibility of the Jamabandi register on Bihar Bhumi is highly commendable, the system still needs to overcome the critical challenge of ensuring 100% data accuracy at the grassroots level to truly prevent land disputes.
While the intent is excellent, a core challenge for the Service Plus RTPS platform remains ensuring its accessibility and ease of use for citizens in rural areas with limited digital literacy and internet connectivity.
