Those in the bartender industry are often overworked, underinsured, and still reeling from the effects of COVID-19. The Bartender Emergency Assistance Program (BEAP) at the USBG Foundation exists to be a safety net to those in our industry facing unforeseen and/or catastrophic life events such as an accident, acute medical diagnosis, or wind, water, earth, or fire related natural disasters. The BEAP is here to make sure that our industry friends don’t fall through the cracks just because they are injured, displaced, or needing emergency assistance.
We are expecting to need $300,000 in 2022 to keep the BEAP safety net open. Your support can help us strengthen the safety net. Please donate today at usbgfoundation.org/donate.
The Bartender Emergency Assistance Program – Serving Those Who Serve Us.

If you or someone you know in the industry needs emergency financial aid, please visit our BEAP application form here: usbgfoundation.org/beap

This is a meaningful initiative that highlights how important it is to support people during difficult times. Emergency assistance programs like BEAP can make a real difference for those facing unexpected challenges. It's also encouraging to see organizations using online platforms to connect communities and share helpful resources. For anyone interested in exploring another digital platform, you can visit https://netflyy.app/ to learn more about its streaming experience. Wishing the USBG Foundation continued success with its fundraising efforts and the positive impact it has on the hospitality community.
The passage wonderfully describes the unpleasant reality of bartending—pressure, unpredictability, and a lack of support when unexpected situations occur. BEAP provides life for this community. I think of tiny fishing, where daily labour is like fishing for pennies, but without improving your safety net (like BEAP), one major "wave" of disaster can wipe you out. This support program deserves donations!
