Foundation looks to raise $75,000 by New Year’s Eve

HENDERSON, NV - November, 18, 2022: This week the USBG National Charity Foundation announces the launch of its annual End of Year Fundraising Campaign to benefit the Foundation’s Bartender Emergency Assistance Program (BEAP). The goal is to raise $75,000 by New Year’s Eve, December 31, 2022.

To donate, please visit www.usbgfoundation.org/donate.

Founded in 2015, the BEAP exists to assist those in the bar industry who are in need of assistance as a result of a catastrophic event or an emergency hardship. Be it a localized natural disaster, unexpected medical costs,or a family emergency, the BEAP is available to support bartenders and bar servers in their time of need. Through the BEAP, the USBG National Charity Foundation strives to assist as many qualified individuals as possible each and every year and works to ensure that the BEAP is sustained as a safety net for those who need it most.

Said USBG National Charity Foundation Senior Program Manager Genevieve Porter, “It’s impossible to overstate the importance of donor contributions on the success of the BEAP and the impact those donations have on the lives of their recipients. Donors help the USBG Foundation provide over 200 Emergency grants to bartenders & bar servers every year. It’s our hope that through our End of Year Fundraising Campaign we can raise an initial $75,000, which will allow us to kick off 2023 with the ability to allocate 50 BEAP grants to those who need them most!”

Reflecting on a year of community support and giving back reminds me of the importance of spiritual grounding in our daily lives. I’ve personally found so much strength and peace by starting my mornings with the recitation of Surah Yaseen, which helps me stay focused on serving others with a kind heart. It’s wonderful to see how collective efforts and individual faith can come together to create such a positive impact on the world around us.

It’s inspiring to see USBG Foundation stepping up with an end-of-year fundraising campaign that truly focuses on supporting hospitality professionals when they need it most. Initiatives like this remind us how powerful community-driven efforts can be, especially during challenging times. Raising awareness through impactful storytelling is just as important as fundraising itself—something we often see in the world of best seller ghostwriting, where meaningful stories connect people and drive action. Wishing USBG Foundation great success with this campaign and hoping it creates a lasting positive impact for those it aims to support.

It’s truly inspiring to see the incredible support the foundation has provided to the hospitality community this year, especially after how tough the industry has been lately. I remember when I was transitioning out of service work and felt so lost with my career materials that I decided to Pay Someone to Write My Resume just to help translate my skills for a new path. It’s programs like this and getting that extra bit of professional help that really make a difference when you’re trying to build a better future!

Reading about the USBG Foundation’s end-of-year fundraising campaign really resonated with me as a PhD student trying to make sense of how collective effort and support can make a real difference balancing rigorous research with a part-time role at Affordable Assignments, where I assist peers through academic pressure, has shown me firsthand how much impact compassionate support can have. Back in my college days I suffered a lot from the hustle of juggling deadlines and trying to find reliable UK Assignment writers who helped me understand concepts rather than just complete work, which is what sparked my deep interest in assisting students in their academic work; I’m really conscious about my studies and others’, and seeing organisations unite around a meaningful…
