PHILANTHROPY & GRANTS

The USBG Foundation understands that service industry professionals often do not have the safety net necessary to survive sudden or catastrophic life events that prevent them from maintaining financial security for themselves and their families.  The USBG Foundation provides grants to qualified applicants who are in need of financial assistance.
BARTENDER EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

Serving Those Who Serve Us.

The purpose of the Bartender Emergency Assistance Program is to assist qualified bartenders, bar backs, and bar servers who encounter temporary, emergent, financial hardship due to unforeseen and catastrophic life events. BEAP grants are not intended to be used as unemployment insurance at this time.

The USBG Foundation has adopted procedures in order to ensure that recipients are selected on an objective and nondiscriminatory basis.

HELEN DAVID RELIEF FUND

The Helen David Relief Fund (HDRF) honors the memory of the beloved Port Huron, MI bar owner and community leader who passed from breast cancer. Beating breast cancer twice during her life, Helen David stands as an inspiration to those living with the disease.

In her name, the HDRF assists qualified members of the bar industry who are taking on breast cancer, and other forms of cancer, with the dignity and courage Helen displayed through her battle, and exemplified throughout her life, as a pioneering business owner in the bar industry.

The USBG Foundation has adopted procedures in order to ensure that recipients are selected on an objective and nondiscriminatory basis.
